"Torn away from her parents and close-knit Tiefling community as a small child, Nyx learned early on that life isn’t fair. Though taken in by gentle Dwarves who raised her with love, patience, and compassion, her horns and tail never allowed her to feel fully accepted by her new community, creating a deep sense of insecurity that remains even today. A Circle of the Moon Druid, Nyx channels her shapeshifting abilities, magic, and lessons learned from her adoptive father to violently resist the humans who continue to spread terror and pain to other non-human families. As she searches for her place in the world, she fights for independence: for herself, for her people, and for the oppressed."
